I’m a London-based freelance writer with extensive experience in digital and social media and bylines in Pitchfork, The Guardian, NME, Noisey, Vice, Dazed, Time Out, Interview Magazine, Metro, Shortlist, Another Man, Kerrang!, Rock Sound, Bandcamp Daily, Cineworld Magazine and more. Previously, I was DIY’s online editor and chief sub-editor, Punktastic’s reviews editor, and the music editor for Cardiff University’s award-winning Quench Magazine 2013/14.
I’ve worked on print magazines and online publications alike, drumming up passion (and the occasional bout of batshit behaviour) amongst one the most brilliant bunches around – young, excited music fans. Working on editorial, social media and print production process on the day-to-day, I’ve delved into audio (podcasts and radio appearances), advertorial, video, design, public relations, dodgy DJing, dodgier dancing and a whole heap more alongside it.
Somewhere along the way, the BBC and BRIT Awards both saw me fit to help judge their Sound Of poll and Critics Choice Awards respectively.
Here, you'll find a selection of my writing, some examples of other bits-and-bobs, and a means to get in touch. All the best.
